Cannister purge selenoid broken off! Can I plug the vacuum line?

I fabricated a coupling but its leaking. The plastic is broken off in the lines and I cant seem to get the plastic out. Its almost as if ther seleonoid was attached to ther line???

Where does the vacuum line lead to under the throttle body?? I cant see where it goes and my Haynes manual is not much help.

It goes right into the bottom of the tb.mine has been stuck shut for awile.all it has affected is the idle a little and it hisses like crazy when I pull the gas cap off to fill up.they are pretty cheap at rockauto or junk yard.
