This morning I went out to my Explorer, saw my mirror hanging by its wires (I have it in the visor holding it up); no biggie as I am on my way to get new tires and the auto parts store is next door. While at the tire shop, my alarm went off six times. While at the auto parts store, it went off twice. When I went back out to my car, where it sat quietly with the doors locked; I started my car and noticed the headlights were on. At the store, when I turned off my car the lights didn't go off, same thing when I got home. I noticed that when I use anything on my drivers door panel, the headlights dim, just a little bit but is noticeable to me. Can anyone help me?

Your headlights dimming when you open or close a window is normal, unless it dims more than usual. I would take it to an auto parts store and have them test the charging system for starters. Most places do it for free. A bad alternator can cause some strange things to happen.

Your alarm issue could be the alarm box itself. It can be disconnected (I assume yours is factory). If I remember right, it's behind the panel in the back on the driver's side. Maybe check the switches that turn your interior lights on when you open the doors too.
