The engine is turning, i checked there is no spark. I checked all the fuses and they were all fine. I checked the spark control module that did not look warped or burnt out. Does anyone know where the Crank position sensors is located. Or any other suggestions would be great.

Thanks,
-J

On most engines, the crankshaft position sensor (CKP) is right at the main pulley.

Pay attention close to your Check Engine Light when you have a no start situation. That is my first point of troubleshooting on a crank-no start...

If it does not come on when you turn the key, you may have a bad relay or power problem to the PCM. The PCM will not enable your fuel pump, spark etc.

If it does not extinguish when you are cranking, there is a problem with the Crank signal.

i was able to get the car started after continuously flooring it. It seems like it has bad gas in it. The car is running like crap the idle all over the place. I'm not getting any check engine lights?

Running rough and no CEL? Weird. I'd check for any vacuum leaks (although that wouldnt stop it from starting, just a very rough idle). Also check the fuel pressure and the fuel pump (and fuel filter), sounds like fuel delivery is looow.

Very good idea to have the fuel pressure checked. It would be a great place to start.

Besides the fuel I would check the idle air control valve. The IAC helps your car start without touching the gas and maintain idle. They definitely go bad.

How does it run if you push on the gas?

Check the vacuum tree on the drivers side near the firewall for a line that may be off. If one of those lines comes off it will give you the symptoms you are having.

The car is running fine now? Dont ask me how i have never had a car that fixed a problem by itself. So the problem is probably underlying and is going to happen again. I filled the tank with gas and put in a fuel injector cleaner the night before. Not sure if this contributed to it. Also could it be the ignition solenoid, i know sometimes when they get dirty on them they can do this?
