Caterham guy needs help

I am in the process of collecting all the parts to build a locost BOOSTED Caterham/super seven.

One of the parts is a 8.8 rear end out of a 00 or 02 explorer (note i am shooting for independent rear suspension).

Now my weird question is can i use a front hub from a 4x4 explorer with the rear half shafts? or are they different splines?

Not the answer, but 2002 Explorer (except Sport & Sport Trac) is IRS, 2000 is not.

I know in my 05 with fully independent suspension its a 31 spline rear and 27 front...
Just snag a 02+rear... It's a irs 8.8.....

Can we expect to see the results of this build? I have always had a back of the mind interest in the Caterhams and have looked into them some. Out of my priorities at the moment but certainly the type of vehicle I plan to build sometime in my life. I would love to see this build, even if it's just a link on here to what you have done.

well i am in the process of collecting parts to start mocking up stuff, Like i need to buy a 06+ mazda miata transmission, half shafts, knuckels/hubs, brakes, ect.

I had looked into a T9 or T5 transmission but it doesn't have the torque capacity i need to run a boosted engine.

so i don't have any pictures as of right now to show you guys.
