hey guys,
I just received a CD-6 radio from a 2004 Ranger Edge to put into my 2002 Mazda B4000.
I had it sent from the states and the seller put it into shipping mode for me. On top of the radio tells you instructions how to put it INTO shipping mode,but not how to get it out of it. I assume that it would be the same sequence of events.
However, I have tried that, which is to have the key in ACC and simultaneously press 2 and 5. Almost any combination of buttons I press makes the cd changer make noise, but when pressing load or eject it says SLOTS FULL even though there are no discs in it.
On a side note, I cannot set the clock or adjust the sound settings, even while following the instructions from the owner's manual.
This radio had been in his truck since new,removed,sent to me and installed in my truck and I can't figure out what to do with it to get the cd changer working.
Any ideas? I've searched all over the net for the past 2 days looking for info and I can't find anything other than the possibility that the mechanisms inside have come apart and jammed the cd trays.
