CD Changer Not Going To Next CD -96 Eddie Bauer

1996 Explorer Eddie Bauer with factory radio and CD changer in consul. The player changes automatically to next CD when at the end of the CD.

What I cannot do anymore is get to the next CD when trying to push next CD button (forward or back) on Radio. Could this be a Radio or CD changer issue? Any suggestions or comments. Tks

Handling, buying, buring cds is a waste of time. I swore I would never get an iPod or anything like it, but now, I would fist fight a priest if he tried to get me back on the cd track... Is it time to save some money and move away from the cd player.
