Cel Help! I Need To Drive

Hey guys i tried the throttle cable mod the other day and it was all going fin but now ive got the check engine light came on today and the car was having problems upshifting. I took off the throttle mod but its not helping at all the CEL is still on and the engine was still having a hard time shifting (it was doing it sometimes before the "mod") I need to drive 150 miles tom can anyone help me ASAP?!

Go to an auto store that reads codes, and have them pull them. That is really all you can do at this point. I assume you need some kind of tranny service/work.

I suggest you unhook the battery for 5 minutes to reset the codes. The cable mod probably threw the code that will stay there until reset.
