My center armrest has come loose. It hasn't come off just loose. Visually, I can not see a way to tighten it back up. Anyone know a way to fix this?
Thanks

There most likely no way to tighten the arm rest. If it is loose in the hindge then you have to repair it. It is realively simple and inexpensive. The only thing that you can tighten is where it attaches to the console. If you do a search of the site you should find plenty of information on the armrest.

chances are more probable than not that the platics console itself is cracked and the arm pad itself will detatch soon enough. This happened on mine and at first i was going to pick up a console from a salvace yard. in the mean time i need a fix because i NEED the arm rest in the X.

I took a piece of 1" x 3" wood and cut it down to fit in the console and into the armrest piece. I drilled several holes in the armrest and the console and screwed everything together. months later this thing is still fine, goes up and down fine and supports the weight of my arm everyday. you can't even see the screws unless you fold up the arm rest and look...
