Cerwin Vega or Infinity Subs?? help me choose.

hey guys help me choose i am really up in the air about this one.
booth seem like good products.
12 inch infinity reference subwoofers
or
12 inch Cerwin Vega HED subwoofers (a new series)
let me know what you guys think!

i have a feeling that everyone is going to tell you to get the infinity. mainly because cerwin vega isn't known for their sound quality. and infinity is more popular now, as opposed to 7-10 years ago when CV was one of the best. but i think that the cerwin vega HED is a great entry level subwoofer. the sound quality is much better than you would expect from any cerwin vega. this might be the beginning of CV's comeback. sure they have the stroker for spl, but it sounds like crap.
the choice is totally up to you, but i would go for the CV. just because it is a big improvement over the past few years, and not many people have them yet. also, they look pretty cool with the titanium nickel plated cone.

I'm with Lee on this one, I say go with the CV's. Of course, I did like the Vega-series subs, and now I have infinity's : ), so I guess that makes me impartial, right?

But yeah, from what I've heard of those HED series, they sound good. I was impressed. Just throwin' my vote in there.

i think that you should go with the cerwin vega's unless of course you are going with the infinity "perfect" series. I am in mobile audio retail and have found through a lot of customers that the infinity reference just don't stand up to their specs. Also, another brand with great quality and decent pricing are audiobahn's. Good luck with your decision.

Infinity Perfects are great. My buddy has two 12's and they sound awesome.

the reactions i'm getting sounds like i should go with the hed series Vega's.

Nobody thinks the infinity references can compare to these is what i'm seeing

no rush on the verdict...not buying any speakers soon...
so keep the comments and suggestions coming.

I liked my Cerwins a helluva lot more than my friends infinity's. Way too expensive if you ask me, I would recommend the CV's.
