I'm having trouble changing the keypad entry code from the MFT display. It prompts to enter the factory code, which I have on the card and it just repeatedly asks for the factory code. The printed code on the card does work to unlock the car from the keypad, but it does not seem to accept that code in MFT. Anyone else have this issue?

It's not very intuitive as there is no cursor to guide you. Just enter the factory code twice in a row, then the code you want to add.

I was having this same issue - I'll try what you are suggesting Riley, thanks for the help.

Thanks Riley - that did the trick. It took a few attempts, and it was very laggy - but then the prompt for the user code popped up. Took about 4 tries of entering the factory code twice before the prompt came up.

Others have had the similar thing happen, including me. You can change the code from the door keypad, and this seems to work, very well, as discribed in the manual....just another MFT glitch......

I couldn't do it from the door correctly either. the code on my card does work though. I'll try again tonight.

Just an FYI.

My dealer informed me that if they do a software update it will punt your code and default to the original. You may want to just snap a picture of the code card and store it in your phone just in case.
