I still have not done anything about the header problems i posted about previously except fill the crack with the high temp "liquid metal" from Autozone.
Before i can decide wether to go forward with replacing the upper and lower ball joints, tie rods, etc that it needs i have to figure out how much it will cost and decide wether to install new headers and muffler system or sell my beloved ex to a scrap yard.
Can anyone suggest a decently priced exhaust setup from the headers to the tail pipe? Not looking for a new sound or an increase in performance, just something that is cheap and no worse then factory stock.
Right now the passanger side header has a crack at one of the casting seams, two of the 4 cats have holes, the muffler has holes, and so does the resonator. and oh ya the tail pipe from the resonator back just plain fell off.
If i hollow out my cats would my ex pass emissions (in NV if anyone knows)?
Does anyone have parts of a factory exhaust system they aren't using that i could buy?
Any advice on deals, ways to cut corners, and thinking outside the box (cough law cough) is appreciated.
