check engine light after new thermostat

just changed my thermostat and the check engine light is now on???? did i mess something up?

95 ford explorer 4.0
 






You need to scan for the trouble code that is causing the CEL first.
 






Try resetting the computer. It may need to relearn to deal with a new temp if your old stat was bad.
