Check Engine light

I have a 2005 Sport Trac that the check engine light keeps coming on and staying on. The code reader shows misfire on #4 on startup. I have used carbon remover and changed plugs, Ford said that they must be Motorcraft. I have cleared it several times, but the light will come on after about 8/9 startups and remain on. Any suggestions?

did you change the wires also? i would also check the ignition coil.

I have changed the plug wires around with same result. Will look into coil. Thanks
