clicking nosie coming from engine

I have a 1994 ford explorer XL with a 4.0L V6. Its my first car and one of the biggest problems with it is this clicking sound. Its not really loud but you can hear it when its warming up and if you are driving 5mph. Then after going on the road and gaining speed i cant hear it but i know the noise is still going on. The car has about 200,000 miles on it and wondering if someone had this problem before and is it something that must be fix ASAP?

Sounds like valvetrain noise.. Mine's the same way, it's caused from poor oil supply in the valvetrain.

i had my dad look at the car and he's been around cars for awhile and he was saying the nosie didnt sound like a valvetrain. Its like hearing a clock but more of a metal sound and louder
