Clicking/Thumping under the glovebox

My 2011 has started something new. Before starting or after shutting it off, there is a repeating thumping (maybe 2x/second) under the glove box. Sounds like maybe a vent door opening/closing. It stops as soon as the vehicle starts. Mostly an irritation at present, not continuing long enough to run down the battery. Goes 5-10 seconds at a time. After shutting it off, it starts as I open the door. Any clues?

Blend actuator door! I just replaced mine too.
