Shrill whine lasts until engine compartment warms up. Goes away after that or if go below or above approx. 1800 rpms. No noise during warm weather. Ford has 2 TSBs out, but I don't know their numbers. The NHTSA numbers are 17280 and 17544. Motorcraft.com shows that they went to a different generator part number some time in 2004. Does anyone have full text TSB for this. I would appreciate seeing it. Local dealer doesn't like to share. Tks.
