I've never had a problem with the wind noise on the three Explorers I've owned up until now. It's pretty egregious at anything about 55 mph, sounds like one of the front windows is cracked open.
I see RockAuto has door weatherstrips for relatively cheap but the window seals are not available. Any comments on what is "usually" the cause of wind noise? Is it the door weatherstrip, window seal, or something else like the mirror seal?
The vehicle has no body damage as far as I can tell (no tweaking) and the noise is pretty even on both sides of the vehicle. No obvious damage to the window seals or door seals.
