My Explorer is a 2011 XLT, no nav system. Running iOS 7 on an iPhone 5
Since the last upgrade, I have not experienced any more main panel lockups.
I have had the occasional instance where the phone did not pair.
Yesterday I had the left panel stick on the Yellow "change oil soon" warning and it would not clear until I shut down the ignition and restarted.
So at this point, MFT seems to have reached the point of minimally acceptable functionality - where it should have been in 2011 prior to release to the public.
Hopefully, it can be made even better going forward with the installed hardware. Or - will Ford chuck it all and see what Apple is releasing for the auto environment? Time will tell.
