Hello and thank you for making this site,,,pretty awesome!!
my 92 Areostar steering wont move, went to check fluid in pump and its like a tanish color and when engine is warm,it starts to bubble over,,my question is should i drain fluid or remove pump? My belt is also bad and will replace tomorrow and looks like a fun task to complete!!
Thank you Brad :us: ;)

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the Aerostar section. A second thread was merged with this thread, and 2 other threads were deleted because they were the same as this one. Please only make one thread at a time on a single subject. Did you replace the fluid as was previously suggested?

Thank You

I think just water got into pump,,,sunday we take belts off and clean pump and add fresh fluid,,,thanks for replies,,,

Somehow water got into PSP,,,got van in garage and Me and a friend flushed the power steering pump and added ATF fluid,,,works great now just glad pump wasnt shot!!

Thanks for the update! Make sure that the drain hose near the power brake booster isn't pointing at the top of the power steering pump. The cap has a bleeder hole, and water could enter accidentally.

Thank you Brooklyn Bay for the info this last week ,,,,much thanxs:us:
