The previous owner is sending all the paperwork on the Exp. One of the manifolds was replaced on July 22nd of this year, but there is still a very noticeable "tick" when the engine is running.

It definitely sounds like an exhaust leak.

Any solutions to this problem? I don't really care about the performance as this is supposed to be my daily driver. :) Seriously.

Thanks for any input.

I know that a lot of 5.0's have had exhaust manifold leaks, causing the tick sound. You could try re-torquing the bolts that hold the manifolds in place. It's possible that the bolts have worked loose or were not tightened enough when they were replaced.

First thing is to find if it really is an exhaust leak. If so Find where the leak is. Some places can weld a crack depending on size and location.
