HELP I have a 1996 Explorer with a 5.0 and am having troubles w/ the crankshaft sensor. I just recently replaced the timing chain cover and I think the cover was the wrong one. Does any one know how far the sensor is soppose to be from the toothed trigger wheel. I measured 85 thousandths of a inch and i'm guessing it should be about 35, but I really have no idea.
