Just picked up an 08, with just a few hundred miles over 60k. I have an 02 with 202k, I think I've owned every year of the 2nd gens, I'm a big fan of these trucks.
Situation with this 08 that I just bought is that it was whacked in the drivers-side doors, and they need replaced- also, it was hard enough to pop the roof and driver-side seat bag and will need a b pillar and rocker panel replaced. Any one have any Idea if the 3rd gen doors will fit- I haven't had the interior panel off yet, and I see the hinge's are obviously different, (the same bolt spacing on the pillar end, but different at door) other than that, w/o taking the panel off, the door looks physically the same... I guess my question is how different? Will the 4th gen panel work on a 3rd gen door? anybody know?
