Cruise control stopped working

My cruise control stopped. No intermittent working nothing. I think this happened after hitting the breaks pretty hard. The next time I tried to use it it did not work. I checked fuses but either do not know the correct one or there is something else going on. 2005 explorer xlt 4x4 v8.

Also another note. No lights come on in the dash etc not working period.

Yeah I dont have that sensor on the top of my master cylinder. I saw that post and that was the first thing I checked.

Welcome aboard!!

Check the bottom of the master cylinder as well. I think some of the newer years have it located there.

Also, make sure that you have the proper amount of brake fluid.
