There are some threads on this site about installing aftermarket cruise control but is it possible to swap from a 91 XLT into a 91 XL?
I snared the following components at the boneyard today
- Modulator
- Throttle cable and bracket
- Vacuum hose to manifold
- Vacuum hose to brake switch
- Brake pedal plastic switch actuator
- Wire harness from behind column to steering wheel
- Steering wheel w/horn panel
I am missing at least one part for sure, the amplifier unit that is by the glove box.
What other parts do I need, e.g., do I need the XLT computers too?
And the part where I got stuck was trying to figure out the wiring situation. Am I going to be missing any crucial harnesses on a base model?
