custom 96 4.0 ranger headers on 98 4.0 explorer?

You guys think they'll work? Theres a good set close to me with a y pipe and its already been coated. Should i take the chance or get something i know will fit?

Anybody? Im lookin to pik em up in 3 days. I think they'd work but with a baby on the way im not big on spendin the money and hopin for the best. Any helps much appreciated. Thanks guys
