Just did custom Dual exhaust on my 1994 ford explorer.
Went with a Super 40 Muffler, 3" inlet and dual 2.5" outlet
Did 2-1/4" Piping from the cat to the inlet and run 2.5" piping straight out the rear.
Here are some pictures and a video:

sounds and looks awesome, wish i had done the dual pipes instead of single

That sound very good for a V6.

Awesome, more pics of truck, looks and sounds sweet. What did that run you?

40893 - Thanks! I really liked the look of duals but was worried about how it would sound. The guy that did it said he never did duals on a V6 before and even he was surprised.

Jakee - Thank you! Sounds better in person versus the video too!

94jo - thanks, what else you want pictures of? And I was told it would cost $300-400 but the guy has still yet to ask me for $$. Not sure!

that looks and sounds nice! are you going to put some chrome tips on?

i'm sure you do, what size tires/lift are you running?

looks awesome though! someone finally figured out how to run it! can you still run a spare, or did you have to say bye bye to it?

Thank you! And I actually like it how it is now. I'm sure once they start to rust I'll want some tips but I actually like them right now!

4" Suspension Lift & 33x12.5x15
And I'm pretty sure I could fit a spare, I haven't had a spare under there since I did the lift. But from the looks of thing I probably can, want me to check?

sounds awesome

can i hav some detail as to how this system got plumbed? did some random guy do it? a shop? how did you run 2 1/4 into 3in inlet? and why ? was that suggedted to you?

Was done by my dads buddy at his house, he has a lift. I designed the original system, 2-1/4" piping in, dual 2.5" out. However, the only he had dual 2.5" out for was the one with a 3" inlet. So the reason we did it the way we did, bc it was all that was available. He just welded the 2-1/4" into a short 2-1/2" pipe then welded that into the 3" inlet. Got the price finally too, $300
