I just purchased my Explorer earlier this week and I have already begun the process of adding my demo equipment for my business. In my previous vehicle, a Jeep Liberty, I had a very nice electronic switch panel installed but there is no good location for me to install it in the X. So I decided to install my own switches in the center stack for a custom install. The article can be found on my Ford Truck Fan blog. I did not do this project with the intention of writing this article. However, I thought it would be nice to put this together in hopes that it may encourage someone else to customize their own vehicle. I've already created a lot of 'tech' articles on my Project Responder website so this seemed like a natural progression.
