hey i am putting a body lift of 3 inches in my 1991 explorer soon here but i was wondering for the suspension if i could get away with putting a set of 2" lift leaf springs in the rear and a 2" coil spacer kit in the front. if that works how big of tire can i get in there? thanks for the help guys. ps: i new to 4x4ing so please bear with me if i say any stupid questions.

with a 3" body and 2" suspension you should be able to fit 35's stock you can fit 31s

you should be able to fit 35's with that setup but you might have to do some fender trimming in the front. and fyi if you go higher that 2" of suspension lift in the front (via spacers of springs) you will need drop brackets for the ttb in order for it to align properly.

i got the same setup on a 91 4x4 and 35s wont even go on it. 33s scrub my fender wells when i turn.

wheel back spacing helps.

I have the same lift, but with 1 1/2 spacers, and 31x10.5 just barely fit. It could also be the aftermarket wheels and I still have the plastic rocker trim.

I'm running 33x12.5s on 4" BS wheels on 2" of suspension lift. I know there are others who are running the same setup and some who are running 34s also. All you need is the right backspacing and a little trimming.
