D30 SAS, no lockouts, bad for tcase?

I'm thinking of going SAS and want to get all my bases covered. All D30 swaps being done are using axles with no lockout hubs. I've heard of burning up bearings in certain t-cases. How does the 1354 react to being run at highway speeds.

Should work fine, I've got a 1354 in my 97 and my front end doesn't have locking hubs.

Are you SAS or do you have the stock Ford IFS. I believe the IFS has vacuum hubs. Thanks for the input though.
