damn Haynes manual. need answer

Ok, im putting the knuckles back on my D44 for my SAS, but the haynes manual i have has no torque specs for upper and lower ball joint nuts. Can someone help me out here? The 44 is out of a 78-79 Bronco. Thanks a ton!! Ja

torque spec on them is EXACTLY "gootantight".....

the lil threaded in nut in the top balljoint hole preloads the knuckle so you should not have to worry about going too tight with the balljoint nut's...

"if" you go too tight the balljoint will just spin in the cup.... i go tight as i can with mild pressure on a 1/2" drive ratchet then stick the cotter key in....

they sure as hell wont go anywhere after that.
