hi all, swapping out bulbs on my 94 4.0L xlt. My right turn signal bulb is not working, didn’t before. I get juice to the plug and also at the contacts (also continuity on the board) but the bulb won’t turn on. Moved around bulbs using ones I know work and still nothing. Any thoughts on what is happening here??? I’m stumped.

You can measure voltage at the socket but a known good light does not work? Are you using a voltmeter? If so, try an old-school screwdriver-style voltage checking gizmo with a light bulb in the handle. They're cheap if you have to buy one. Voltmeters.... they don't put a load on the measurement, and that can change things. Let me know, I'll check back from time to time and see if I can get a schematic uploaded.

I pulled my cluster and carefully cleaned every single contact on the flexible sheet with a pencil eraser. Cleaned under the nuts for the gauges and also the 2 big connectors and their contacts as well. Bought a bulk pack of bulbs and cleaned all the sockets. While I had the cluster out I took the lens off and cleaned the faces of the gauges with a paste made from 'Cream of Tartar'. Look it up, it is strange but it works great and leaves it looking new. Cleaned the lens and waxed it with Pledge furniture polish.

All this took about 3 hours and solved my dim bulbs and erratic gauges
