The dash kits I've seen are only laminates that you put over your stock dash pieces. Some members have gotten silver dash pieces from 2.5 gen sports and sport tracs though or painted theirs.

As for taillight covers, I'd advise against getting them as they are illegal to have in foul weather or at night and IMO are dangerous to have. (if you're talking about blackouts and not the protective steel covers.)

having blackouts on the back is not illegal and are not dangerous b/c it is very clear when my turn signal or lights are on but as for the front blackouts i removed b/c it wasn't worth taking them on and off for driving at night

In Texas it is illegal to have something that dims your brakelights or turn signals, and there are visibility at distance requirements for lights. I can assure you a blacked out taillight is not visible from the required distance.

Normally in a rear-end collision whoever is behind is at fault no matter what. However, if you have blackouts on your tails and you were rearended it is your fault. I think it is not wise to obscure safety equipment such as brakelights.

...besides, CF tail lights look cooler!:D

wouldn't the 3rd brake light make up if someone rearended you?

It should but the law does not see it that way.

why is this in the audio forum?

Dunno, good question :)
