I had an irritating vibration noise I was sure to be coming from the center of the dashboard. After listening with my wife driving I discovered the noise was actually coming from the rear view mirror. I could grasp and hold it and the noise would stop. I took the front face of the mirror housing off with a creidt card to separate the housing and added a bead of clear silicone (the pictures show white silicone but it dries clear). Easy fix for an annoying problem. Hopes this helps someone else.
