I'm in the process of installing a DD machine bw 1350 + 1354 doubler in my 91 Ex. I'm a little concerned about the added unsupported length and weight. If anyone here is running this setup I would appreciate your advice. Did you add a mount and if you did how did you do it? Also how is it working?

I'll be running a stock 4L,stock auto trans, 1350 crawl box, 1354 electric shift t case, full width hp 44 front and 9 inch rear 4.88 gears in one and 4.86 in the other on 39.5 tsl tires

The problem is you're running 39.5 TSLS -- TSLs arent compatible with doublers. The tread pattern causes a vibration that just wrecks the 1350's main shaft's input bearing. LOL kidding, that has nothing to do with it.

As for the weight, the doubler doesnt actually weigh that much and most users dont really worry about it. But if you're really worried, then just fab up an additional support somewhere.

Not compatible huh, that's pretty good I like it. Seriously though, do you know people who are running the doubler without an extra mount and not having probs. Less work is always better!!!
