Probably won't be able to make this.

Thanx for the heads-up I'm sure someone will probably go, seek out Trckmagik, Jamest or Sureshot.40

Jeff - :navajo:

Sureshot and i are going to try to make this. Funds are super tight and i honestly wont know until the last minute. If we are there, we will be independant camping with a few from PBB and will not be registered for all the neat stuff.

We will officially be there Sat. morning - Sun. night.

So, if you see a little multi-colored sport on iroks holler. Its us. :)

Have fun James. I will be at home though working on my truck. :(

Ahhhhh BMRA, the memories...

Hmmm...i might just go out and check it out tomarrow morning! I will have to see how much money I have, it will be cutting it close but if I have the funds i would like to go check it out.

I just looked it up on the google map, im only like 20 maby 30 mins away from there lol.

Well damn, you are only 20 miles from Gilmer.

BMRA is one of my favorite offroad parks in Texas. But, its like a 5 hour drive for me.

Here's a video I made from an Explorerforum run that we had there in 2004. Rick even came out from Arizona to join us.

James t is in the green Bronco. But now he has the green(white fenders) Explorer Sport.

Ya i had to run into gilmer about an hour ago so I stopped by there and talked to the guys behind the counter for a min, im not ganna have the money for gas and all that if i go so im ganna have to stay out for this week :( but im thinking that maby in a couple weeks after I get my 31s on it I will ahve to go check it out. They looked at me real funny when they asked what I had I told em it was a Explorer with just a 2 inch lift. They told me I would be stuck on lvl 1 trails maby 2s, but I want to see how ruff they call ruff cause I use to take stock trucks places I was told they couldnt go before.

how often do you guys run there? Judging by your video some of those im pretty sure I could get through because some of the stuff I have done on our property lol but some of it looks like it might be a lil bit much, hard to tell by a video. either way it looks like it was a blast.

Just got back and im wiped out. It was good to meet you rguy i wish we coulda ran some trails together.

SVO- We wheeled with a bunch of FSB.com austin guys who knew you. I cant remember anyones name... one guy was in a sammy and worked at a jeep4x4 shop maybe? Anyhoo... small world no doubt.

We then ran into the pirate group and did a late run with them. Back at camp was a blast. I must have had a good time because my sides hurt the next morning along with everything else. :p:

I try to go there or Hot Springs whenever i can, but with tight funds it isnt very often anymore.

Gilmer has alot of varying trails... there's something for everyone. The trail rating system is not that great, you can run a 3 thats hard and then hit a 4 thats easy. Rain makes that place 10x worse than when it is dry.

Well it sounds like you had fun. Let me know next time you run if you want and I will see if I can meet up with you guys. Im sure your trucks are more advanced then mine lol. All I have is a TT and SHackle which gets me up 2 inches higher than I was before. Next week I will be getting 2 tires and week after the other two then I will have my 31s on it.

And like you said about the rain, im sure its alot worse. I know out here on our property on the back field bottems when it rains only 4wds can make it back out of there just because the mud gets so slick a 2wd cant get out.

Was he kind of tall and skinny with long hair and drank and smoked weed out on the trail?

There's a couple of trails you could run out there with 31's... maybe even some of the harder ones as long as you arent scared of a dent or two. :D

Yeah, I'm sure he knows he has to behave better at Gilmer than he does at Bastrop.

Lol I dont like dents, I meen if it happens it happens but im not thrilled about em, my biggest worry is the undercarrage, ripping something off or breaking something badly lol. I like to wheel but this is also my DD so I cant be to hard on it.
