If you upload the photo to photbucket or a similar hosting site then you can paste the link after clicking on the image icon in the reply window.
As for whether or not you have obdII i cannot help but if you do a search of the US part of the site you may find out

Hi,
I just realized that probable you are right.

I will try to check if I find something else that could fit.

Thanks.

Hi,

That connector on your vehicle is the same as on the Ford Probe (1990's) (and others I'm sure).

You can just bridge two wires and connect a test light to another two to flash out diagnostic codes. I don't know exactly what you wish to achieve and I cannot guarantee that it will work on your Ranger but I believe it will.

Is there a diagram on the lid of the socket or nearby? Looking for terminals labelled FEN, GND, B+, TEN

No that is the problem ,there is no diagram of the wiring.I have an obdII scanner and the connection is not the same. I have the ABS light on and I am trying to find out what the problem is. My connection have 10 pins.

I'm confused. Everything that I read says if it is obd II then the socket is under the steering wheel with a cover on it and is a standard port. This is a genuine 2004 ranger and not a grey import? Just guessing that it might be an odb I socket. But it would have to be a pre 1996 ranger for that to be the case.

Hi, I bought the pickup from UK and as far as I know,it is genuine. It is a 2004 Ford Ranger xlt thunder 2.5 diesel doublecab black

I happens:D to find out that it is of the Mazda B2500,it is on ebay as well,so I am going to buy it and see if all work fine.
I will let you know.
Thanks very much for your help.
regards,
Vince.

Hi,To day I received the Mazda B2500 adapter and tried it,but it is giving a link error,so probably it is not meant for the Ford Ranger.
