i need 2 new heads for my 92 explorer. the last owner by passed water pump because the bearing went out so the belt was slipping off. And he drove it like that until radiator blew up.
Since i live in Hawaii it was too expensive to take the heads to machine shop, so i just changed all the gaskets, radiator, water pump, but the car was running fine except when you left it off for a day next day it smoked and now has antifreeze in oil.
so i finally paid the price took it to machine shop and both heads is cracked.
Did anyone buy heads from that place before?
Please help i need to get that thing on the road but i can find a place where i wont pay an arm and a leg just to have it shipped to hawaii:(

I've not, but the fact that they're selling two heads for the price of one, is concerning.

Don't know if member swshawaii might be able to help you or not.

I've always used a place in Florida called Clearwater cylinder head. They've always had great prices, free shipping, and a quality product. Not sure if they'll ship to Hawaii for free though. It's worth a phone call. (800) 572-1963

Those heads in the first post by the OP are reman..dont buy reman heads..as everyone has found out, first gen 90-94 heads SUCK,especially 90tm..ive head of 90tm heads cracking from just removing them or machining them..

Ive always used Engine Quest but only because they offered TRUE 95Tm heads..93tm or 98tm i dont think it matters where you get them now as long as they are new cast..

Be very careful if you need TRUE 95tm as most/all will say 95/98tm but are really just 98tm...95tm have a smaller CC and large exhaust ports like pre 95..98tm have small CC but has smaller exhaust ports

Yep.
