Did my TT cause my sway bar link to fail?

Reading up on sway bar links but I haven't yet found if I contributed to the sway bar link in my truck breaking by having the TT done...Ill keep searching but it looks like I want to get new links...do they need to be longer then stock? Sorry if these are dumb questions, I'm not on this forum as much as some of you guys....Here is what I found so far.

Is this moog part longer then stock? Maybe my answer is in these threads and I just over looked it.

OEM end links breaking? Very common failure, they are a poor design. Also, do not over tighten aftermarket end links with polyurethane or thermoplastic rubber bushings. 10-12 ft/lbs. is adequate where you can just barely turn the center sleeves.

TO FIT/SELECT THE PROPER SET-
Vehicle must be on level ground (not jacked up) with wheels supporting it. Make sure stabilizer bar end eyelet (B) is parallel with the control arm (C). Many times they are not. You may be required to use a slightly longer or shorter sleeve length than the original. Measure length of (A) and compare to the chart to find the correct set.

Stock shocks and links are garbage. Get a set of Moog Problem Solver links and install just like stated above.
