I have two different iPods that I use, a 5th Gen iPod video Classic and a 1st Gen Ipod Touch. When I have them hooked up they behave differently. My 5th Gen Classic works perfectly but when I hook up the iPod Touch, everytime I start the car, the Infotainment system will hesitate and then automatically default to the iPod. This does not happen when I have the iPod Classic attached!

Has this happened to anyone else? Is there something I can deselect to stop this from happening as it gets annoying!

I too have noticed differences between different variations of iPods. I have not encountered what you have.

Check to make sure the options in MFT are not set to automatically start playing the iPod when connected to a USB port.

No it is not hence my post...only my iPod touch does this...my Classic does not
