Do the indercators flash when using the remote on 1999 Eeplorer.

I am wandering if the indercators are supposed to flash when using the remote to unlock and locking the doors. As mine do not flash when using the remote , I have owned my 1999 Explorer for six months now so I'm not sure this is normal for these vehicles.

only when locking and only if you hit the lock button twice. the lights flash and the horn chirps once (twice if a door isn't closed all the way) assuming you have the factory system.
