Do you have to use high octane gas with power chips ?

Here in AZ the highest I can get is 91 Octane so that is all I have ran in mine since the Superchip. I have ran a couple of tanks at different times of 87 with the Superchip in to see if it pinged. Mine does not ping, but you can feel the reduction in timing. I like the firmer shifts about as much as the added power. It'shard to put a number of 1-10 over such a wide range (no change to jet propulsion). I will just say that I can feel the difference with it in and the lack of performance when I remove it. It isn't a dramatic affect. It's more of a type like "when one day your Explorer seems to be running a bit better than another". Imagine your explorer havin one of those days, every day.

Wow, Robert you hit the nail on the head! I know exactly what you mean when you say "When one day your explorer is just seems to be running alittle bit better than another"!!!
