Does having a supercharger mean a higher rear end gear ratio is better than N/A?

Based on that chart, I have 342 gears.
I need to climb underneath and have a look at what the tag says on my diff. It would be a great check for accuracy of the chart.

Ford don't make 3.42 gears and that chart is not accurate at all.you don't have to crawl under just check your door code.

Im kinda questioning it also.
I really thought I had 373's, but the chart doesn't support that.

What gear is a 1:1 in your truck? ill double check mine today but pretty sure that chart is off.
 






Thx JD, I was suffering from temporary brain damage and thinking of the chart with overdrive on. I appreciate the gentle hint.

With overdrive off, I'm at around 3000 rpm at about 65mph. That would make the chart correct in my case (373's)

I was really wondering witch gear is 1:1 in yours?i have no clue with your trany.mine is 3 and i double checked yesterday and i turn about 3300 rpm with 4.88 & 36s.according to that chart i should turn 2961rpms .don't think my tq locked up tho so my rpms may get a little lower.ill have to double check that.
