Does the cooler line need to be bled? How?

I just put a hose loop,instead of a cooler for now,to test my tranny..
Does the line have to be bled? Or does air in the line matter? How do you bleed it?Also will too much fluid cause a problem?

It is a 92 Ranger 4x4 4.0L V6 260 000 kms..Brand new fluid,and filter
