Hello,
I own a 2004 Aviator with the DOHC 4.6. Everyone has told me that this is a great engine and that compared to the SOHC modular motors, it is more efficient and powerful. With that being said I have had problems with the motor over the past couple years mainly being misfiring and problems with the exhaust system. I want to be able to get the most reliability and power out of this motor as possible and don't know where to start. I definitely have noticed a power loss and want to know what should be done to increase this. Thanks
