A long time ago, I ditched my radio to install a nice gauge pod in its place. Since then, I have managed to rig up my MP3 player to play through my speakers. I also no longer have the rear sub. Now, my question is this, how would I go about installing an amp between my MP3 player and my speakers to give them a little more bump? Right now, the way I have it rigged, is my player is what is powering my speakers, so there is very little bass and they can only play as loud as my player goes. I know an amp will not help the volume issue, but thats not a major obstacle.
One thing I had considered was seeing if I could hook up the amp from the factory sub woofer to the door speakers, and have my player run through it.
Thoughts, ideas?
