I wouldn't think that just having the doors open would be too hard on your battery, but I would like to know where the door buttons are because apperently on of mine isn't working because the door ajar light is on all the time.
Just look in the door where it meets the body. There is a little pin lookin thing that sticks out that you can push in and out...Sorry I can't think of the exact location at this time but you'll find it.
just an FYI, on my '96, the dome/door light, rear wiper motor, windows, speedometer and odometer are all on the same fuse. Don't forget to put it back in
Just turn the interior light dimmer switch off (all the way down). This will turn off the dome light and enable you to leave your doors open with no battery drain.
