dose this mean my tranny is dead

i went to leave this moring and i put it in drive and it went about 5 feet then started to rool backwards whats up witht hat

fluid level is always a great place to start when something like this happens... on a level surface, engine warmed up, check the trans fluid level. It is ONE possibile cause and the solution is to top it up and keep an eye on it.
