dpfe sensor hoses keep popping off

anyone have any ideas why they would come off i replaced them with the correct hoses they are popping off the egr line and im also losing power does not want to go over 60 if i floor it its building lots of pressure and blowing the lines off kinda think its the cats but not sure o and its a 96 4.0 4x4 and the cel is off any suggestions would be great sorry if im posting in the wrong spot im new to posting thanks

Too much exhaust back-pressure...cats stopped up or tailpipe crushed...start looking in that area to find problem.

Thanks I wound up taking it apart it was the cats that were plugged up that solved my power lose hose and overheating problem
