Had some fun over the last couple days really getting to put the Explorer to the test in the snow! Great time!
- 31" Mud terrains (Kenda Klevers)
- Just installed a new light bar
- Just got a new roof rack on top
- 6 Months into the build and loving it. Fantastic car, got the interior in near perfect condition with lots of trips to pick and pull. Got a welded 2" hitch receiver on rear bumper.
- Planning to tackle an engine rebuild this summer
- Need to install new headliner to complete interior

Look like lots of fun
I just installed a light bar on my wife's explorer for the long night driving on these lonely empty roads
Sometimes I wish I could drive and not just tinker around my driveway

Finding an empty parking lot after a snow storm and drifting and doing donuts was one of my favorite things to do in my youth. It is a great way to learn how to keep control of a car that loses traction on wet or dry roads.

Agreed! The only way to know how to react when you start slipping is to practice haha. If only it was a manual for playing in the snow, that would be ideal!

Add in a limited slip differential and the fun factor goes off the scales.

Does the outside frame part of your light bar light up separate from the main part? Where did you get that light bar?

You know your headlights must be pointing right because they got an x on them like you found the spot. 😀

Yes they do! So basically it is a traditional light bar, with a strip of color changing LED lights on the outside! I got it off of Amazon, I believe it was called a Nikoko (might be spelled wrong) Led light bar, they have them in multiple sizes. Very pleased with the product though, was easy to install and definitely gets attention! If you search 'color changing led light bar' on amazon it should pop up on the first page or so!

HAHA yes, it's my small tribute to my favorite rally driver (Ken Block). Drives Ford's exclusively so it seemed fitting lol.
