Drive shaft question w/lift

well... i have a 94 xplorer and i plan on doing a sas on the front with a leaf spring conversion and a soa swap on the rear and possibly change the axle to a heavier axle (doign a motor swap) and well i was wondering for a 6-8" lift will i need to change/lenghin my drive shafts or will the stock ones work (its just untill i get the new motor/tranny/xfercase)

welcome to the forums. to me with 6-8 inches you may need a longer driveshafts but i had thought that there was something you could buy to change the angle of the drive shaft so you could keep the ones you have. This is just me but maybe somebody else on here knows more on this than i do. hope i helped a bit. bmxking5 has a pretty big first gen x as well maybe he knows. :cool:
 






I can pretty much bet you that with 6-8" of lift you are going to need custom driveshafts....
But they are cheap compared to the other things you will have to get (lift, tires).
